How can I get started selling on Vendidit?

What fees are associated with the platform?
There are no fees for sellers to list or sell items. Buyers pay a small platform fee, and sellers can set a "Seller's Fee" to cover the costs of inspecting and processing items. If an item is shipped, shipping fees are handled between the seller and buyer off-platform.

How does creating auctions work?
Auctions are created either as open bidding or blind (similar to a silent auction). They can be public (displayed on the website) or private (access via a direct link). You control bid increments, starting bid percentages, and visibility.

How do auction registrations work?
Buyers register for each auction — a free, simple process. Some auctions, depending on the merchandise, may require additional steps such as ID submission. Registrations can auto-approve or require seller approval; buyers are notified once approved.

How do you list items?
After creating an auction, items can be bulk-listed, created individually within the auction, or rolled over from previous auctions. Use the standard fields (size, weight, quantity, etc.) or define your own custom fields and condition scales.
